It is a small monastic complex. The main part of the church is a three-aisled basilica with a wooden roof, columns, a narthex and an external loft, full of wall paintings from 1639 and an interesting wood engraved icon screen. However, the largest part of the building is dated to the Byzantine period, something indicated by the wall-building, which is mostly made of bricks and the window of the apse, with its ceramic decorations (13th century).
